you have come to the right place. My name is Heather, and I am a Registered Nurse with experience caring for families during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period.
Throughout my nursing career, I have had the privilege of witnessing incredible births, supporting families through unexpected challenges, and seeing firsthand how education can transform the birth experience.
One thing that has become clear to me over the years: birth isn’t just something that happens to you. When parents are informed, supported, and confident, they are better equipped to make decisions that align with their values and goals. That is why I created Beyond Birth Education.

Why Childbirth Education Still Matters
We live in a time where information is everywhere. A quick internet search can produce thousands of opinions, videos, and social media posts. Not all
of that information is accurate, or evidence-based. Quality childbirth education helps families sort through the noise. It prepares you not only for the birth you hope for, but also for the unexpected twists that can happen along the way. When you understand what is happening and why, fear often gives way to confidence.
Education doesn’t eliminate surprises- but it helps you face them with knowledge and confidence.
